Known for his simple living and high thinking, Dr. P E Joseph is also known for spear heading the prestigious Christian College established in 1850 - St. Johns College at Agra. Having completed his B.Sc from St. Johns and his Masters in Chemistry from Jiwaji University - Gwalior, he concluded his Doctorate from the University of Allahabad.
After embarking his journey with prestigious institution Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, as lecturer, he joined Mayo College,Ajmer. His significant opportunity came along when he was offered to join as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry with St. Johns’
College, Agra in 1989. He is a keen researcher and has to his credit forty research papers, which have been published in National and International Journals. Under his supervision nine research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree.
After serving with dedication and passion for well over 25 years, the College Management designated him as Principal of St. Johns College, Agra. Under his Strategic Leadership skills and his Commitment, the College was accredited by NAAC with Grade “A”.
Dr. Joseph has always enthused the college vision to engage in the development of intellectual,social, creative, ethical and learning potentials in students and to kindle in them a passion, for academic excellence and holistic growth, so that they will be adequately equipped for serving the humanity.
